About Obsidian

Who Are We? 

Obsidian is a small team of passionate mountain bikers based in Aberdeenshire in the north east of Scotland who are using our deisgn and engineering expertise to create high quality goods that excite us and we want to ride.


Our Mission

Our mission is to design, produce and deliver high-quality, durable components with a strong level of detail and unique visual aesthetic that stand out and will captivate you from the moment you first lay eyes upon them. 

We are all about fun and our criteria for “success” is humble, Obsidian began life as a passion project to kill long winter evenings spent indoors and nothing more, as long as can we can continue to design, create, ride bikes and have fun, then we will be successful.

Producing mass amounts of components, piling them high and selling them cheap is simply not what we are about, we hold our commitment to quality over quantity above all else, we will never offer a product we wouldn’t stand by 100% or ride ourselves.
